With retail space stretching over 1.2 million square feet and throughout two stories, the Deira City Centre is among Dubai’s biggest shopping areas. Its hundreds of stores cover nearly every retail category one can think of.
The shopping centre contains over 370 stores and 58 restaurants, cafes, and other dining options. Anchor stores include Carrefour, Debenhams, Iconic, Sharaf DG, Virgin Megastore, and Paris Gallery. Since its opening, the Deira City Centre has constantly been growing with a renovated food court, new retail stores, dining options, and improved accessibility. The family entertainment centre Magic Planet, cosmic bowling arena Bowling City, and 11-screen multiplex VOX Cinemas are also on-site. The City Centre Deira also connects to three hotels.
The City Centre Deira’s recent renovations added improved metro access, served by the subway’s red line. Nearby landmarks include the Deira Clocktower and the Jewel of the Creek development plot.
Opened in 1995, the Deira City Centre was the flagship mall of the Majid Al Futtaim Properties portfolio. Today, there are twelve other City Centre malls located in Egypt, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
