Departing from Bermagui Harbour, deep-sea and big-game fishing expeditions offer the chance to bring in yellowfin tuna and black marlin. Eateries at Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf serve fresh seafood and are surrounded by small shops, wine bars and a weekly farmer’s market.

At Wallaga Lake, you can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and picnicking with the family. Wallaga National Park covers the east shore of the lake, while Wallaga Lake Road leads to the striking Camel Rock formation. Spend some time surfing, snorkelling and swimming at Camel Rock Surf Beach.

Fertile farms and vineyards harbour some of the region’s favourite wine-and-dine venues. Spend an evening at the cellar door of Mimosa Wines and accompanying Drystone Restaurant.
