2000 Fashion Show Drive, Las Vegas, NV, United States
Across from the Fashion Show mall and steps from the Strip, the 64-story Trump International Hotel Las Vegas towers above all nearby buildings with a golden facade reflecting the brand of the Donald J. Trump hotel collection. The vibe: Impeccable style, lifestyles of the well-to-do, service that goes above and beyond What we love: Love him or hate him, you can trust that any resort owned and operated by real estate mogul Donald Trump knows how to deliver the good life. That's certainly the case at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas. If you want to be treated like a millionaire.or rather a billionaire.then stay here. Unlike most of Sin City's hotels, Trump International Hotel Las Vegas doesn't have a casino (something that goes over well with families) and it doesn't allow smoking (which goes over well with those of us who hate inhaling other people's cigarette smoke). The staff is awesome. Really they are. And what's more, the concierge-like Trump Attaché team (doesn't that name sound like it belongs to some sort of super secret intelligence agency?) can pretty much make whatever Vegas dream you have - within reason, of course - come true. The rooms at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas are incredible. Not only are they spacious (starting at 515 square feet), but the beds are unbelievably comfy and the bathrooms come with jetted spa tubs. Plus, there are kitchen appliances by Wolf, Bosch and Sub-Zero (nicer brands than you have at home). Insider tips: Trump International Hotel Las Vegas doesn't have a self-parking garage. You have to valet park. That service is free, but a gratuity is expected.  Kids and small dogs are more than welcome here. As part of the Trump Kids program, children get kiddie cocktails, coloring books and other surprises during their stays. And the Trump Pets program gives four-legged guests gourmet treats, bowls with bottled water and plush pet beds. In the resort's gift store, you can also purchase Trump-monogrammed pet accessories including robes, blankets and slippers. The elevated pool deck features ahh-mazing views of the city and a fabulous setting for soaking up the sun. The only thing that can make it better: A drink. We recommend ordering one of the signature cocktails from the poolside café H2(EAU). If pampering yourself is on your vacation must-do checklist, The Spa at Trump has you covered. It offers everything from gemstone treatments and royal body therapies to hangover cures (like the Vegas Recovery Massage and the Morning After Eye Care). Good to know: Trump International Hotel Las Vegas is situated about a block from train tracks. If you're someone who's bothered by train noises (because they do occasionally roll through), you may want to request a room on a higher floor. The resort also sits back about a quarter of a mile from the Strip, so you'll need to do some walking to get to other major properties and shopping. The restaurant choices at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas are pretty much limited to DJT (take a guess at whose initials those are). But the uneven quality of food and service here doesn't seem to be on par with the high-end presentation of the rest of the property.

Vegas hotels don't get any better than Wynn Las Vegas with its luxurious accommodations and the finest of fine restaurants and shops. The vibe: Razzle-dazzle architecture and décor, generously proportioned rooms, every possible convenience, totally gourmet. What we love: There's just something about staying at an elite hotel like Wynn that makes you feel swanky. Revered for elegance and for having incomparably high standards of service, it doesn't matter who you are because you'll feel like someone very important here. A breathtakingly beautiful atrium alive with trees, shrubs and flowers is situated near the lobby. We adore the two whimsical floral installations. One is a carousel, the other a hot air balloon - and both are sure to make your spirits soar. It goes without saying that Wynn would have a gorgeously landscaped pool deck. But we'll say it anyway because lying in the gardens beside either of the two lovely main pools (or splashing out for a cabana) is like escaping to "Fantasy Island".minus the plane, the island and Tattoo. Three words: Wynn Dream bed. Yes, this is a thing - more specifically, it's a custom-designed Sealy mattress dreamily made up with 507-thread-count linens and overstuffed pillows and shams. A perfect night's sleep is guaranteed.  Insider tips: Welcome vegans and vegetarians. All of the restaurants in Wynn (and Encore) have special menu items designed for you. So if you're out with a group, no worries. Wherever you choose to dine, there'll be something perfect for everyone to eat. Visit the Lake of Dreams, located behind the Strip's only manmade mountain. You can't see it from outside Wynn, but when you come inside look for the circular escalator and ride it to the bottom. From dusk until 12:30 a.m; fanciful shows filled with music and holographics play at half-hour intervals on the lake's 40-foot waterfall. The best viewing point is on the terrace of the bar called Aft. Nurse a drink or two and you'll have an evening of entertainment. Good to know: Wynn Resort rooms are big and well designed. The one thing they don't come with is a fridge. Now you will find a minibar in these rooms, but be warned: If you move anything from its place to make space for your own drinks and snacks, you'll automatically be billed for it. It seems silly to talk about upgrades at Wynn, but the possibilities are endless when every room and suite at this hotel feels like a little piece of heaven. That said, the Tower Suites have been awarded the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award for nine straight years. Counted among the finest boutique hotels in the world, they have their own exclusive entrance, lobby and pool. Wynn is connected to its even more elegant sister property. So if you find you want to dial down the crowds and energy level a notch, Encore's quieter, boutique-style offerings are just steps away. Wynn has an awesome self-parking garage, but be aware that on extremely busy weekends as well as during major events or big premieres, you may want to go next door and use the self-parking garage at Encore. Also as an FYI, no outside food or beverages are allowed in the resort or the casino, even if you're staying in a room. All guests who arrive with these items will be told to throw
