Boasting one of Europe’s largest cinema complexes, Star City is a family leisure and entertainment complex in Birmingham. It opened in 2000 to coincide with the United Kingdom’s premiere of “The Perfect Storm” and has a huge bowling alley, an indoor soccer centre and a 36-hole mini-golf course.
Catch the latest Hollywood and Bollywood flicks on the big screen at the Vue cinema complex or challenge your family and friends to a round at Adventure Island Mini Golf. You can practise your shooting skills at the Goals indoor soccer centre or clamber up the Twinpeaks rock-climbing wall, then enjoy a game of ten-pin bowling on one of Megabowl’s 22 lanes.
There are numerous eateries at Star City, ranging from Italian to Indian,Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Family-oriented events and shows are regularly presented at the complex, including circus performances by Cirque du Soleil.
Getting there
Star City is a 10-minute drive from the centre of Birmingham and can be accessed by the number 66 bus that stops outside. Birmingham Airport is a 20-minute drive away.
