Established in 1932 on the historic Ashridge Estate, the Ashridge Golf Club lies amidst a spectacular National Trust-owned woodland. It was originally designed by Sir Guy Campbell, Major C.K. Hutchison and Colonel Hotchkin (with later changes made by Tom Simpson), who retained the site’s natural beauty and undulating terrain.
Play a round on the clover leaf-shaped course of Ashridge Golf Club, which measures around 6,100 metres in length. Featuring strategically placed bunkers, each of the holes combines both traditional and modern golf course design, with regular sightings of wild deer grazing beside the 17th hole.
Relax over a drink in the clubhouse after your game or sample what has been hailed as the “best lunch in Hertfordshire”. A round at the Ashridge Golf Club can be combined with a visit to the nearby Zoological Society of London’s Whipsnade Zoo, which is home to more than 3,500 animal species from across the globe.

The Ashridge Golf Club is a 10-minute drive from Berkhamsted or around one hour from central London. London Luton Airport is 30 minutes’ drive from the club while London Heathrow Airport is 45 minutes away.
