Spend your days relaxing on the wide sands of Badestelle Ording, which is home to a children’s playground and a water sports centre where you can rent kitesurfing equipment. At the West Coast Park & Robbarium, kids can let loose in the naturally-inspired playground before getting up close to the resident harbour seals.

If you love the natural qualities of amber, visit Boy Jöns, a museum that’s operated by a local amber craftsman. Alternatively, you can delve into the history of the Eiderstedt peninsula at the Haus Jensen Heimatmuseum. A highlight of visiting Sankt Peter-Ording is indulging in a therapeutic treatment at one of the local spas.
