Rainbow's End offers plenty of action for thrill seekers, including the stomach-churning Stratosphere. There’s only a handful of these the planet, where riders are locked into a circular cage and spun 360 degrees at heights of up to 30 metres. On a sunny day, prepare to get drenched on the Log Flume, which plummets 17 metres down a slide.
Getting there
Rainbow's End is a 20-minute drive from the Auckland CBD and offers on-site parking. Local trains will get you to Manukau Station, a 650-metre walk from Rainbow's End, in 30 minutes.
