About Henderson, Auckland

One of the major suburbs of Auckland, Henderson is located 13 kilometres west of the city centre. This vibrant suburb has a railway station for easy access, plus a large shopping mall and theatre complex. Henderson is close to picturesque TeAtatu Peninsula and several natural scenic reserves.

The busy suburb is home to a variety of shopping outlets, fine dining restaurants, cafes and scenic areas. Begin an exploration with a visit to Crystal Mountain, and enjoy a fun, family day out with the largest selection of crystals and minerals in the world. The park is home to the Crystal Mine Museum, an animal park with rides and life size dinosaurs.
