Beautiful Hotel. They a have a mix of modern and classic decoration. Very close to transportation and right in the Geisha district. Close to trains, great restaurants and coffee shops. I’d also recommend wandering around a street or two over to the right where the geisha houses are when you are looking at a map it’s to the right. Comfortable room with blackout blinds which were useful during bright summer mornings. Great breakfast that had Japanese breakfast options with more American or plain choices for those who weren’t wanting to get too adventurous in the am. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Kyoto. Everything about the place was fantastic. It’s just a perfect place to be.
