    Great Hotel For The Value

Great location, very close to Gion, only about 5 minute walk and you are in the middle of the shopping area. I can easily spend my time through walking around the shopping strip nearby. The rooms are small, but not any smaller than any other Japanese hotel we stayed in. I really like the Hotel facilities especially the communal bath (hot spring/onsen) and laundry section. Best thing ever when you need a good relaxation bath after a long day of walking. The Japanese breakfast was delicately crafted and delicious. Also, it was great that the hotel offers free supper of ochazuke and beverages. This is the best value hotel we stayed in on our two week trip in Japan. I will stay here again whenever I come to Kyoto.

Great. we knew the rooms would be small, but they were comfy. the bathroom facilities were great and they even had their own onsen downstairs.
