The first silversmiths appeared in Setesdal more than 100 years ago and have been forging beautiful jewellery ever since. Find some of the best artisan workshops in Evje, Rysstad and Valle.

Built in 1866, Bjoren is a beautifully restored wood-fuelled steamboat that cruises around Byglandsfjord. You can enjoy fantastic views of the cobalt-blue fjord and the Setesdal valley. The four-hour return hike to Gloppefoss Waterfall takes you to one of the highest waterfalls in the area. Downhill mountain bike trails and white-water rafting trips along the Otra River will get your pulse racing.
