One of the top sporting venues in New Mexico, Dreamstyle Stadium is a fantastic place to experience college football in the United States. The outdoor stadium has been welcoming fans since 1960 and is home to the New Mexico Lobos.
Capable of hosting almost 40,000 fans, Dreamstyle Stadium boasts an electric atmosphere, with halftime shows featuring bands and cheerleaders. Stadium food vendors sell hot dogs, fries, pretzels, popcorn and green chilli cheeseburgers, an Albuquerque classic.
If you're cheering on the Lobos, learn the college chants and wear red and silver, the team's official colours. While the New Mexico Bowl is the stadium's most prestigious event, the venue also hosts soccer matches and live performances, with legends like Metallica and The Rolling Stones having graced the stage.
Getting there
Dreamstyle Stadium is on the south campus of the University of New Mexico, a five-minute drive or 40-minute bus ride from Downtown Albuquerque. Parking is available throughout the University of New Mexico. Albuquerque International Sunport is a 10-minute drive away.
