    Great Value For Money!

Staff made a potentially stressful situation easy. In fact I can't speak highly enough of the staff. Our room was massive and it was very clean, bathroom showers were hot. Pillows and beddings were comfortable. The food here was also excellent. The hotel itself is past its heyday, but I think it adds to its character. Excellent location Tokyo Skytree is also a few train stops away and very near to a subway station so it was really no hassle to walk with big suitcases going to the hotel. It was really near to Ueno area so lots of shopping and dining options. Good value for money with extra hospitality. Will definitely stay again.

    Nice Stay

Reasonably clean by western standards but not by Japanese standards, this hotel is conveniently located, near Ueno on the one hand and Asakusa on the other. Metro is very close and will get you anywhere once you master the metro and train system. Location is everything, they say. Not quite to get a top rating. Rooms are exquisitely small. The 3 rooms we booked had no place for hanging your clothes. Our backpacks remained unopened for that reason.
