Although small the rooms are well designed. The beds are so, so, so comfy! Unlike in most hotels where the Queen bed is just two singles pushed together with a thick sheet on top here you get an actual Queen mattress. A nice surprise, and it's so soft and comfortable. The rooms come with a blissful rain-shower and plenty of room in the bathroom to enjoy it. Location is excellent. Jalan Besar, Little India and Bugis stations are all within 5 mins walk. I first stayed here in 2012 just after it opened and found it to be a brilliant, modern and stylish little boutique hotel. It has slipped a long, long way since. There were actually holes in both the bed sheets and the towels in my room! The breakfast, well, if you expect no more than a cup of coffee and a couple of pastries you won't be disappointed. The lobby has a nice room where the tables are for breakfast. For the rest of the day this is covered by a great big ugly grey curtain that dominates the lobby, hardly welcoming or inviting. To be fair the staff are lovely and do try as hard as they can - but for a similar price I would look for something new next time.
