    Good location and nice rooms

Clean rooms and free access to onsen in basement was a nice touch. Well located within Shinjuku and close enough to public transport

Great Location and good value for money. In a relatively quiet part of Shinjuku but close to the train station, the subway, the park, the shopping district, and the bars, clubs and jazz dives (and the LBTQI+ friendly area) that give Shinjuku its vibrancy. Lots of konbini (convenience stores) nearby, and a variety of Japanese cuisine options (from cheap to expensive). Friendly staff, all with good English, and a decent size room by Japanese standards; reliable internet, a soft bed and an even softer pillow. It was a pity I wasn't able to test the waters of what looked like a comforting onsen/spa because I have tattoos, which have personal and cultural significance to me, although I was aware of that restriction when I booked and I appreciate they have a different significance in Japan.
