Incredibly satisfying experience from meeting at parking till the left

Booked this Hotel based on the pictures online and the score. Unfortunately, a picture does not say more than a 1000 words. The lake view room which I initially had, was located in the older tower of the hotel. The internal open construction of this tower (the centre part of the tower was open from bottom floor to top floor) created a strong draft throughout the tower and due to the gap under the room door, this draft caused a loud 'blowing wind' noise. Furthermore, the open construction of the tower ensures that you hear the noise of people talking in the hallways several floors below or above you. Not great at night if you are trying to sleep. inside the room the floor was sticky, the aircon leaked, and there was a mouldy smell. The online pictures give a more luxurious and clean impression, but in reality it is very underwhelming. Perhaps this hotel is fine if you are simply using it to put your head down on the pillow at night (bring ear plugs though). Not recommended for business travelers who may need to work from their room.

LikedWe always enjoy our stay at the centerpoint where we often are upgraded. The staff is routinely helpful. It’s an older hotel but in a great location and with amenities we appreciate (kitchenette, bathtub and nice balconies).

LikedIt was our second stay in the hotel in our 6 weeks Thailand trip and we will be back again for sure.
DislikedWe really liked the near by gate park access which sadly was closed for renovation - hopefully in 3 months time it will be reopened.

LikedLarge rooms were great for our family. And its location was good for access to local bars, restaurants and the sky rail.
DislikedA bit dated and scruffy round the edges in the rooms. Also didn’t like its exact location up a dark side road, although the frequent cart trips for guests up to the main road were handy.
