From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Even though it was a cold and overcast day Sophie at reception shone through ever so brightly. What a star and a great asset to Des Balances. We felt extremely guilty when she rocked up at our hotel door with our 2 suitcases that weight probably round 45kgs combined. When I questioned her as to why she responded that the porter was busy and its all part of 'team work'. She was constantly in contact with us and assisted us a great deal in familiarizing us with the hotel and area. We loved the hotel ambience and the room was just perfect.Would definitely stay at this hotel should we return one day and hoping our star will be their to receive us again
